How to enable folder options

In such a case you may not be able to view hidden files in your PC and may be a problem for you. In such there are certain things you can do to bring back the “folder options”. But such a problem usually arises because of computer virus like rontokbro and there a virus scan with an updated Antivirus is recommended. After you have scanned your PC and removed all the virus you can go for the “folder options”.
The following steps are to be followed to bring back the “folder options”:
1. Open regedit by typing “regedit” in the run menu of windows’ start list. If the registry has been disabled enable regedit.
2. Now after regedit opens, press “ctrl+F” simultaneously and a “Find” popup will come up. Type “noFolderOptions” in the text area and press “Enter”. In another way you can directly go to the registry location
HCU\SOftware\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
and you will find a word noFolderOptions whose value is 0×00000001 (1). Now Double click on noFolderOptions and change the value from 1 to 0. With these few steps your folder options will be back again…
